On Your Way To Heaven?

If you were to die today are you 100% sure that Heaven is your home?

1 John 5:13 says “These things have I written unto you that believe on the Name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life …” The Bible clearly teaches that we can know for sure that heaven is our home

1. GOD SAYS THAT EVERY ONE OF US IS A SINNER

We can do nothing to become sinners, we are born that way. We are the off-spring of Adam, the first sinner. We sin because that is what sinners do! We all stand guilty and condemned already. We are without excuse before a Holy God (John 3:18)

“There is none righteous, no, not one” Romans 3:10

“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23

“Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” Romans 5:12

2. God says that eternal death is the penalty for our sin:

This death is known as the “Second Death”, a place of eternal punishment and separation from God; the place called Hell. (Revelation 2:11; 20:6; 20:14;21:8)

“The wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die” Ezekiel 18:20

3. God says that Jesus paid the penalty for us:

Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice. He willingly laid down His life for you and I.

“While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8

“For He hath made Him to be sin for us” II Corinthians 5:21

“Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree” I Peter 2:24

4. God says that we must receive salvation as a free gift:

“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” Ephesians 2:8-9

“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” John 1:12

“That if though shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” Romans 10:9-13

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock; if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” Revelation 3:20

Dear Lord Jesus,

I now believe You suffered for me and died on the cross, shedding Your precious blood.

I believe You were buried and rose again to pay my debt for my sins.

Please be merciful to me a sinner, and cleanse me with Your precious blood.

I now place my faith 100% totally in You alone as my Lord and Saviour. Please save me from hell and give me the wonderful gift of eternal life.
